My annotated transcript contains information to about the courses I have taken throughout the MAET program. You will also find links to assignments which I completed within each course.

CEP 810 was my very first course in educational technology. This and other two certificae courses convinced me to pursue my Master's in Educational Technology. In this course I learned the importance of the use of technology in the classroom. This course introduced me to tools such as Google Docs, Prezi, and screencasting. I also learned about things such as TPACK, Personal Learning Network, blogging, and other practical applications of computer software and its use in the classroom. I created a blog for my CEP 810 course and it can be accessed at: http://neringat.blogspot.com/ There you will find a few assignments that I completed for my CEP 810 course.

This course is a final course towards completion of my Master's degree in Educational Technology. In this course I will be building my professional e-portfolio and reflecting on my experiences throughout the program. In my professional portfolio I will be displaying the work I have done throughout my Master's degree and I will explain how it prepared me to be better professionals in my field.

CEP 811 was the second course towards Educational Technology Certificate Program. In this course I learned to create my very first website and stand alone instructional resource (StAIR). StAIR was probably my favorite class project. I ceated StAIR using new feature in the PowerPoint. I continued using StAIR for my other class assignment. In this course I also learned Universal Design for Learning principles and how to incorporate them in lesson planning. This course challenged me to be creative and meaningful in my work. My StAIR project can be found at: https://www.msu.edu/~neringa/optstairproject.ppsx

CEP 812 was the final course towards Educational Technology Certificate Program which taught me to think about various frameworks for technology and what makes teaching and learning effective in your workplace. In this class I was able to experiment with practical and specific ways to apply technology to addresreal issues in the classroom. The big project for this class that I created was Wicked Problem Project (WPP). I deepened my knowledge in using screencasting tools (Jing) and learned to use survey in effective ways. My WWP can be found on my blog: http://neringat.blogspot.com/2011/05/wicked-problem-project-final.html I also created Professional Learning Plan to CEP 812 class which outlines my goals for my future as educator: http://prezi.com/r6jnacez7kqj/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy&rc=ex0share

CEP 800 was an introductory class into Master's in Educational Technology program. This course focused on developing technology-based instructional interventions that are based on what and how students learn and know. This course taught me how technology may affect what students learn and how teachers teach. In this course we examined various types of learning and teaching styles and several theories of learning. In Module 4 of this course we created a project where we had to integrate one of the theories we learned in Module 3. I created a project using constructivist approach. My project can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvldKwq7WpY

I really enjoyed this course since it was project based course. It taught me to create compelling learning experiences â€‹for various audiences. The purpose of this course was to help us develop a better understanding of compelling, educative experiences. CEP 882 has provided me with a more complete understanding of compelling experiences by learning from people outside of the field of education since professionals in the arts (filmmaking, music, architechture, graphic design) share the same goals as professionals in education.  I created a blog for my CEP 882 course and a lot of my projects for this course can be found on my blog: http://neringa0721.blogspot.com/

This was probably my most favorite courses I've taken in Educational Technology program. It really challenged me to be and think creatively. â€‹In this course we worked on a few small projects in a group. However, the main purpose of the course was the Big Kahuna project. We had to design a web resource that taught about some specific idea from a subject matter of our choice. We also had to write a final paper which aimed at integration the various issues and ideas we had been reading/thinking/discussing in this course. I created a website for children that teaches them basic Lithuanian. My Big Kahuna project can be found at: http://www.wix.com/netk03/kidslearnlithuanian

This course has prepared me how to better understand the existing research, including basic research strategies, methodology and practices and how to effectively perform solid research given all the research material that already exists. For this course I had to write a research proposal project for which I had to search and review studies in my professional interest. For my research proposal I chose to research on differences and effectiveness of online tutorials or multimedia versus in-person workshops on international students population. In my research project I concentrated on how online tutorials might be an efficient tool to increase student’s understanding in specific immigration topics, retaining information and how this will help them in form filling and understanding form instruction.

The purpose of this course was to develop us as technology leaders. This course has taught me the aims of education, the evolution of technology, the principles of leadership, and the intersection of all these three elements. In this course we looked at educator's responsibility of managing relationsips between technology, teaching and learning. In this course we developed a policy brief, we looked at instrumental versus missional thinking, we designed Leadership Poster and designed Sustainable Technology Plan. My presentation on Missional vs Instrumental Thinking can be found at: http://prezi.com/sepktcsgd9dp/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy

This was also one of my favorite courses since I had to work on a project that relates to my work. This course was about teaching students online. CEP 820 helped me learn various strategies to help students learn and partcipate in an online environment. The two major assignments we worked on was developing an online course module and developer notebook. I designed a course module for international students who want to apply for off-campus work permission. Those students would be required to complete online course module before coming in with complete paperwork to an advisor.  I chose to design my course module using MSU's D2L course management system.
